On September 6 and 7, 2019, Murray Snider LL.M. student and member of the Human Rights Research and Education Centre (HRREC) attended the Association of Human Rights Institutes’ (AHRI) annual conference at the University of Potsdam, Germany.
Commander Catherine Julie Deschênes (LL.M.), an officer of the Canadian Forces and graduate of the Faculty of Law, has been appointed as a military judge by the Governor General of Canada. She was sworn in at a ceremony on October 11, 2019 in the courtroom of the Asticou Centre. Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies in Law, Sochetra Nget, attended the event.
