Two Ph.D. students receive a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council

The Faculty of Law is proud to annonce that two of its graduate students have received one of the prestigious China Council Scholarship.  They are Chen Wang and Kun Hui.

Chen Wang’s project, entitled " Stay or Leave: a Legal Analysis of Chinese Immigrants' Motivation, Situation and Adaptation in Canada ", is supervised by Professor Angela Cameron. 

Kun Hui’s project, entitled "The Implications for China's State Immunity Doctrine for the Execution of Investment Arbitral Awards against China in Different Jurisdictions", is supervised by Professor Anthony Vanduzer.

The China Scholarship Council (CSC) is a non-profit institution affiliated with the Ministry of Education.  On of CSC’s objectives is to provide, in accordance with the law, financial aid to chinese citizens who wish to study abroad, and to foreign citizens who wish to study in China in order to develop in order to develop the educational, scientific and technological, and cultural exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between China and other countries.
