The Faculty of Law is proud to annonce that Chen Wang, a Ph.D. student, has received a Kololian Family Scholarship for International Law Students.

Chen Wang’s project, entitled "Assimilation or Autonomy? China’s control of migration in and out of Tibet", is supervised by Professor Angela Cameron.

The Kololian Family Scholarship for International Law Students allows two law graduates to come to Canada for a period of 12 months to undertake a Masters (LLM) or Doctorate (PhD) in Law at the University of Ottawa.

The scholarship is offered by Mr. Vahan Kololian, the Co-Founder and Volunteer Chair of the Mosaic Institute.  Based in Toronto, the Institute collaborates with Canada's ethno-cultural communities whose homelands are in conflict to advance the cause of peace and reduce conflict internationally. The Institute encourages Canadians to become active "global citizens" committed to promoting pluralism, human rights, the rule of law, and effective governance in societies around the world.

Congratulations to the recipient!
